Geosyntec has an exciting opportunity for an Integrated Systems Manager to manage our HSEQ systems.

 

Located in our Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne office, this role would suit someone with HSEQ experience with a preference for Quality (Q) experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This role will give you the opportunity to:

  • Improve our National ISO 45001/14001/9001Accredited Management system
  • Manage our systems relating to HSEQ Risk/ Business/ Legal/ Hazardous Substances/ Training/ Document Control.
  • Facilitate regular HSEQ Meetings providing strategic advice to Management
  • Regularly perform internal Audits – System, Project Audits, file Inspections.
  • Develop Monthly HSEQ reports and present in meetings.
  • Work inline with a scheduled HSEQ Improvement plan.
  • Provide advice to field staff and review documentation such as Project Risk Registers and Safe Work Method Statements.
  • Maintain multiple third-party accreditations (ISNetworld/ Avetta and others)
  • Support staff with tenders.
  • Support the organisation with investigations, subcontractor management, onboarding, training recommendations and other key requirements.

Education and Licensure

  • Graduate certificate in Occupational Health and Safety – or equivalent
  • Understand content of ISO 45001/14001/9001

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success in teamwork (preferred)
  • Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams (required)
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written (required)
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment
  • Quality Management (required)
  • HSEQ experience, 5+ years (preferred)
  • Member of Australian Institute of Health and Safety (preferred)
